$1 Burnless Bakeware – get a new piece every month!

by Nicole on March 19, 2009

Apparently the great $1 burnless bakeware deal I posted about here is available to do again each month! Last month I got a great cake pan for just $1. All you need to do is click here or below to sign up for your choice of premium bakeware products.

Once you’ve selected your product, go to the checkout and make sure you click that you want the $1 shipping. Once you do that the bottom right hand side will have information about your trial offer. There are several different trial offers, all for 7 days and easy to cancel. The trial I signed up for had automated cancellation and I was able to get a confirmation email that I had cancelled sent to me after trying to log back into their site to make sure my account had been cancelled. The pan is really nice and since you can do this offer more than one time I just may get another to add to the collection!

I just tried to get the $1 pan today and I read the terms and conditions re: the $1 shipping. It says: You may only enroll in this program once every 12 months. So maybe you can get the freebie pan 3 times a month, but not the $1 shipping?? Also, I tried to pay the $1 with my regular visa cc and went I hit submit, it told me that this card type is not accepted for this offer. A visa?? I left burnless bakeware a voicemail. Thanks!Jennifer

did you call or email to cancel? I didn’t see where the ‘automatic cancellation’ button was under my account. and for the shipping date it is “?????”. hmmmm

4 Nicole @ Nicole's Nickels April 18, 2009 at 4:01 pm

Ok, there are 2 companies you are working with in these deals. The first is the easy bakeware company. They sell you the pan for “free” but you pay shipping to them. If you choose the $1 shipping option, you are signing up with another company for that company to pay your shipping with the bakeware company, in essence except the $1 that the bakeware company charges you. I didn’t cancel with the bakeware company as they only charged me the $1 for shipping and nothing further. The company who paid my shipping (it will vary as to which company this is – for me I think it was Savings Ace. I got a “free” 7 day trial with them and then had to cancel with them within the 7 days if I didn’t like their services. Does that make sense? If you’re looking to cancel on the easy bakeware site, there is nothing to cancel there. If you want to cancel, it will have to be the trial offer who paid for your shipping in exchange for your membership. My trial offer let me cancel right on the website, I didn’t call or email. Let me know if you have other questions.

If anyone needs the phone number to cancel with Savings Ace it’s 1-888-593-5216. I called a couple of days after I’d ordered th $1 bakeware and a very pleasant young man cancelled the Savings Ace membership and gave me a cancellation number. I haven’t tried it a second time…

I had a bad experience when trying to get the $1 shipping. They signed me up for two different companies which both charged my card $14.95!! I then canceled my order for the pans and called homesavingsmall and asked why they charged my card. They said I should be more careful of what I click on and said I tried signing up for walmart gift cards. This is not true, and easybake ware shared my CC info with these other two companies. Please do what you like, but be weary of these kinds of deals. I never would have known they charged my cards for $29.90 if I didn’t get my statement right away.

Anonymous: I’m sorry you had a bad experience. Your bad experience, however, was not with the easy bakeware people. The bakeware people offer the $1 shipping that is subsidized through the free trial offer by companies like savings ace, homesavingsmall, etc. When you agreed to the $1 shipping, you agreed to the 7 day trial for homesavingsmall and the terms and conditions of your offer told you that you would automatically be signed up with another free trial company. I don’t like this business practice either but this is why I cannot stress enough the need to copy and paste the terms and conditions for your records and you need to actually read them! In the terms and conditions was all the info about cancelling and if it had signed you up for another program the information about that other program. When you agreed to the $1 shipping, you told easybakeware that they had your permission to give your credit card info to homesavingsmall and by agreeing to their terms and conditions you gave homesavingsmall permission to give your info to the company you automatically agreed to enroll in. You didn’t need to cancel your order for the pan as it would have shipped upon payment of the $1 for shipping as the homesavingsmall trial and the easybakeware order are 2 completely different offers.

When do you get your free bakeware?

9 Nicole @ Nicole's Nickels April 24, 2009 at 3:34 am

It takes several weeks.

10 Rebecca April 25, 2009 at 6:48 am

I can’t get the free shipping to ever come up. How do you get the free shipping option?

11 Nicole @ Nicole's Nickels April 25, 2009 at 7:09 am

Hi Rebecca: It’s not free shipping, it’s $1 shipping, there should be an option on the check-out page to click on $1 shipping. It signs you up for a 7 day free trial offer with another company that you’ll need to cancel if you don’t want to be charged a monthly fee after the 7 day trial expires. Please let me know if you have other questions.

12 Rebecca April 25, 2009 at 10:10 am

I only get two shipping options. One for $7.95 and one for $25.

13 Nicole @ Nicole's Nickels April 25, 2009 at 2:10 pm

Rebecca: Are you accessing the easy bakeware site through my link above? Did you make sure to choose one of the “free” items of the month? I just logged in again and selected a free item of the month and the $1 shipping appears. If your issue continues (and you’re definitely selecting a free item of the month) please contact their customer service.

Do the companies paying your shipping rotate?

15 Nicole @ Nicole's Nickels May 8, 2009 at 4:09 pm

Yes, you can do the deal up to 3 times per month and you will be signed up with a trial for a different company each time. I imagine this must come to an end once you run out of trial companies but it hasn’t happened yet!

16 dlee May 17, 2009 at 8:27 am

I also had a VERY bad experience. I was able to opt out of 1 but 2 others charged my debit card a total of $50. Not only that, but when I opted out of the 1st one, my bakeware order was canceled. I was only able to opt out of the 1st one because it sent me an email telling me about their services. The other 2 automatically charged me. I’ll be contacting the BBB, The Consumerist and the States Attorney General about this. You should NOT be praising this company on your website. This is considered fraud and false advertising.

17 Nicole @ Nicole's Nickels May 17, 2009 at 9:30 am

First of all, I post this offer because I have been very successful with it many times and so have many of my readers. I intend to continue to post it and praise it since with some careful reading and monitoring, the offer runs very smoothly.

You should NEVER use our debit card for one of these offers. I have posted about this before – if you use your debit card and then they charge you when they are not supposed to then you are out the money pending your dispute of the charges. If you use a credit card, when you get your bill, you call to dispute the charges and you don’t pay them.

It is not the easybakeware site that you have an issue with by the way. The easybakeware people would have sold you the pan for free and then had you pay the $7.95 shipping. You chose to pay the $1 shipping instead and by choosing that agreed to sign up with a trial offer with another company It’s this other company that you are complaining about, ostensibly it’s them that signed you up for the other 2 sites (likely with your permission because you agreed to their terms and conditions).

Did you read the terms and conditions of the trial offer you signed up with to get the $1 shipping? In it, it would have said if by joining the trial offer it was going to automatically sign you up for other offers, what those other offers were and how to cancel them. Do you have the terms and conditions from the $1 shipping offer printed out to review (not the easybakeware terms but the terms of the offer that you signed up with to get the $1 shipping)?

These freebie (or almost freebie) offers are tricky. You can’t get anything in life for free without some work. The work here is reading the terms of the $1 shipping offer company carefully before agreeing and monitoring your credit card statements and emails closely.

It is most certainly the bakeware site that is at fault. Their privacy policy says they will not give away or sell the customers info. That is exactly what they are doing. The one I was able to stop told me they were given my info by the bakeware site. I have reported them, as I said I would. The site is a SCAM. I used a debit card because I believe in paying immediately for what I buy. Why do you think this Country is in such a mess?? CREDIT.

19 Nicole @ Nicole's Nickels May 17, 2009 at 1:48 pm

I hesitated in even responding since I am not going to get into a back-and-forth on here and your blogger profile is private hence you are basically anonymous. I’m sorry you had a bad experience though I stand by my post and my praise of this $1 deal.

Hi, I ordered the bakeware and then canceled the 'trial' the next day. Nothing happened, so I contacted the bakeware company to see what was up. The customer rep told me that orders are held until the 7day trial is up. If you cancel the trial during the 7days they don't ship the order unless you go back and pay full shipping. You have to keep the 'trial' membership to get the $1 shipping. This came direct from the bakeware rep! Janey-

21 Nicole @ Nicole's Nickels June 4, 2009 at 4:27 pm

This has not been my experience at all nor the experience of others. I'm curious as to how long you waited to contact customer service and if you mentioned anything about the $1 trial? I haven't seen anywhere on their site where it says you have to stay a member of the trial site to get your bakeware so what they told you doesn't make sense. It does take some time to get your order – they say 2 weeks but my recent experiences have been over a month – they do arrive though!

Hi,

i would liket to get one bakeware item free, but haven't seen the 1$ option? Nicole plz help me in finding

23 Nicole @ Nicole's Nickels June 4, 2009 at 4:49 pm

Log on to the site and add a free item to your bag, go to the checkout and there should be an option for the $1 shipping. Choose it and make sure to write down all the info about the $1 trial company, look closely at the terms and conditions and write everything down (I use the copy and paste feature)! Hope that helps.

24 Anonymous June 4, 2009 at 5:05 pm

Hi, I ordered the bakeware on 5/8 and contacted the company on 6/4 just to check the status. If you log into the bakeware site and check the shipping date for your order, if it's been canceled due to the trial offer it will have all question marks. I'm including part of the text from the customer service email.

Thank you for contacting us regarding Order #****. Our records show that you cancelled your trial membership with Privacy Matters 1-2-3 and therefore, you are not eligible to receive $1 shipping. If you wish to pay our standard shipping and handling of $7.95, please advise.

Thank you,
Customer Service

I always had the question marks on mine right up until the day the product was shipped so I don't think that's what the question marks mean. Did it say in the terms and conditions when you signed up that you had to stay a member of the trial to get the $1 shipping? Perhaps their terms have changed now…I guess all good things must come to an end sometime?

26 Anonymous June 4, 2009 at 5:12 pm

It did not say anything in the terms and conditions regarding canceling the $1 shipping if you canceled during the trial period. Not mentioned at all. The rep told me that the reason the ship date on my account was question marks was because they had no planned ship date, but maybe they just don't bother updating that for any accounts. Janey-

27 Nicole @ Nicole's Nickels June 4, 2009 at 5:14 pm

If you're sure it didn't say anything about having to stay a member of the trial site and you really want your bakeware I would send an email back asking when this became their policy and how it was conveyed to you when you signed up as you cannot find that provision in their terms and conditions.

*This is a scam. Value Max 123, Savings Ace, and Homesavings mall are currently being named in a class action lawsuit. Check out Easy Bakeware and these companies on retailmenot and rip-off report. This is a big deal. Please get the word out so others aren't hurt by this. Thanks!

29 Nicole @ Nicole's Nickels June 13, 2009 at 7:00 pm

Dear "Anonymous": I just did go on retailme not and ripoffreport and found nothing about a class action lawsuit. I'm not sure where you get your information from, especially since you're "anonymous". As I've reported on here before, I have had nothing but smooth results with the easybakeware offer.
