"Hidden" Coupons Alert!

by Nicole on May 4, 2009

Manufacturers are publishing more and more coupons and increasingly putting them in magazines and other places where you normally may not have expected to find coupons.

Sunday’s Parade Magazine (USA Magazine in some parts of the country) had a great Buy 1 get 1 FREE Easy Mac coupon on page 13 of my edition.

The June 2, 2009 issue of Woman’s Day Magazine (a magazine many of us have a FREE subscription to) has the following coupons:
Page 29 – $1.00 off Dove Haircare (Target coupon)
Page 35 – $.50 off any Curad product
Page 72 – $1.00 off any 1 package of MidNite or MidNite PM

Remember to keep your eyes open for coupons in unlikely places!

Thanks for the alert. I just went to the mailbox and got my Woman’s day magazine. I will have to look for the coupons.
I have won the opportunity to host a Ford American Idol party. I need votes to win the Ford Fusion. I would appreciate it if you would go to and vote for me. Pass the word if you don’t mind. We could really use the car.
Thanks for your blog. I love it.

Thanks, Nicole. Unfortunately, the Parade Magazine which is located in our Houston Chronicle only had an ad for polident on page 13! What a bummer.

We get USA Weekend here. No Easy Mac coupon, but last week there was a tear out for a free piece of chicken at KFC (any day of the week).

My advice for keeping your eyes open for coupons is to look other places you visit. Last week at my stylists’ shop I perused all of her magazines and pulled out ones I wanted (my favorite was the $1 off any Carefree because the small packs sell for $1.15 at Kroger). Also, at the dentist’s office, there were pads of tear off $2/1 any Childrens’ or Infants’ Tylenol.
