KMart Super Doubles are back in some areas this week! My store was participating and so I made a trip this morning. There are even more rules than last time but I don’t think they’ve made it impossible yet!
First, the new rules. Your total before coupons must reach $25. You can only use 10 coupons per day. No overage (i.e. with a $2.99 item – if you have a coupon for $2 off, it doubles to $2.99 off because it can’t exceed the price of the item). I prepared by reading their match-ups and then going through my coupons and pulling the “high-value” coupons. We all know how much things cost pretty much (though KMart is way overpriced!) and so I just went through and grabbed the ones that looked like they would match up well. I ended up getting 9 items and using 9 coupons – and spending just $2.43 out of pocket. I wasn’t sure if my store would adhere to the 10 coupon limit and I’ll probably go back this week during lunch one day so I didn’t need to do a big trip.

I think I did pretty well. They didn’t have the pouch tuna that would have been FREE with my coupon, I’ll look for that at the store closer to work this week and I found more coupons for those disposable razors and the Pantene shampoo/conditioner to use as well.

Nice job coming up with freebies not listed elsewhere. I did OK but also had a lot of frustrations. By the way, I stuck to 10 coupons per transaction but they did not (could not really) stop me from doing more than one transaction in one day — I did 3.
