Nicole! I love your blog. Really helpful and informative.

but… I don't think this newbie transaction is really fair. I mean, what are the chances that someone new is going to have a coupon from February or March? I know that there's a lot of people that coupon that don't do the drugstore thing, but I think there's even more new couponers that wouldn't have a coupon from Feb or March & would find this a bit frustrating.

Dear "Anonymous": Thanks for your comment. I never intend for a scenario to be frustrating to anyone. I post the scenarios as a guide so people can see how shopping at CVS can work to their benefit. If they don't have the contour coupon, they could start with Transaction 2 and pay $4.99 out of pocket, and then continue to Transaction 3 and then develop their own third transaction, perhaps based on the Aquafresh toothpaste deal that is in the post. Again, the scenarios are there as a guide and perhaps my posting about the contour coupon will make new couponers realize how important it is to clip every coupon – because you never know when one will make you money like the contour coupon!
