I have been a member of for awhile now and admittedly do not use it to its fullest extent. It’s FREE to join and is a “get paid to” site. That means you get paid to do certain tasks – everything from reading emails to taking surveys to making purchases from your favorite online retailers.

I mostly use to earn points from reading the daily emails I receive. You just click on the email and receive points for doing so. These points add up slowly but surely and you can then cash your points out. There are many other opportunities to earn points for doing just about anything online. Definitely sign up for this using your separate “deals” email address since most days I get 5-10 emails that I get points when I read.

Right now you’ll get 100 points for signing up and many offers of other ways to earn points. has been around for a long time and many people have been happy with their earnings ability on the site. Sign up today and see what it’s all about.

When you sign up you’ll have an verification email to click on so watch out for that!

how many points do you get for doing tasks? and how many points does it take to 'cash out' or 'turn them in'?

Dear Anonymous: You get different points depending on the task performed, for example, 4 points per dollar you spend at old Navy, to 100 points for downloading the my points toolbar. POints are redeemed for giftcards, like 1400 points for a $10 Borders giftcard or 3,500 for a $50 Kohls giftcard. It's free to sign up and if you don't like it you can always deactivate your membership!

I love mypoints! I have been a member for a couple of years and I generally get 4-5 gift cards per year from them ranging from $25 to $50. I mostly click the emails and surveys. I love that it's so easy to use and most surveys are quick, whereas I get aggrevated with other sites that give you $2 for a 30 minute survey.

I also shop through mypoints when I buy stuff I would buy anyway like pet meds and contacts. Those sites generally offer a discount and 500 points or something. It adds up pretty quickly. Plus if you use your point for a Barnes and Noble GC and then shop through mypoints at B& you get 10 points per dollar spent using your gift card!

My Points is great! I was able to get 3 gift cards for free last Christmas, to give as gifts – saved me about $150.

I have almost enough banked for three more this year! And I already cashed in for a $25 iTunes earlier this year.

I mainly read emails, take surveys, but I also purchase through them. I like Lancome, and I usually wait until I need a couple of things, so I can take advantage of free shipping for purchases over $50, as well as 2000 points for $50 orders. I also earn points through Bzz Agent.

Although a Kohls $50 GC is 6950 points. :-) The $25 is about 3500 points.

Love your site – I've been checking it regularly for a month now – I've found several great deals I wouldn't have known about – thank you for all you do!

I've been a member of Mypoints for 10 years now…I have earned over 64,000 points in that time, and I could have earned more. When I remember to, I try to buy through Mypoints (especially before the holidays!) For example, I just had to buy work clothes. I spent a little over $500 (I saved up!) through MyPoints (clicked on Banana Republic, but bought from sister sites also) and I earned over 2,000 points for that! It is legitimate, and the rewards really are good. Thanks for this post!
