Karen at Frugal RI Mama has this week’s hot CVS deals and match-ups. I’m highlighting a few below but you’ll want to read her full post for the rest of the list!

If you’re new to CVS deals shopping, please read my CVS 101 post and then check out the Newbie Scenario I’ve posted below.

This isn’t a great week for freebies or ECB deals at CVS. There are a few good deals. My ECB’s don’t expire until next week so I’ll probably sit this week out unless a good freebie pops up mid-week like they sometimes do.

on transactions 2 and 3….how do you use the ECB's before you actually get them…DOn't you have to complete the purchase before they are printing? Maybe I am just not following the plan correctly…I am still new at CVSing.

Hi Lea Ann: You do 3 separate transactions here. ON the first you don't use any ECB's but some will print. Then do transaction 2 and use the ECB's that printed in transaction 1 and more will print when you check-out. Then do transaction 3 and use the ECB's that printed out in Transaction 2. You can bring all the items at one time to the cashier divided up into transactions. Complete each transaction and use the ECB's that printed from the transaction before. Hope that helps.

how do I get the cheerio coupons? when I click on the link it just takes me to something where I have to sign up and then receive 4 weekly 1.00 coupons…

Hi Lea: Yes, you'll get a weekly coupon for $1. I've posted about this deal before. If you don't have any of the coupons, you'll only be able to get 1 coupon this week and use it to buy 1 cereal bowl.
