Black Friday Shopping & Deals

by Nicole on November 26, 2009

Tomorrow is Black Friday! For some of you, that may mean waking up while it’s still dark and heading out to get that special gift you’ve been waiting to find.  For others of you (like me!), you’ll still be home in bed.  I’ve shopped before on Black Friday but this year will be doing most of my shopping online throughout the holiday season (including Cyber Monday) and getting the gifts delivered right to my front door!

Definitely check out the best Black Friday deals for in the stores here.  There you’ll find all of the Black Friday ads and more information about the hottest deals out there.  I saw some really good deals at Walmart, Office Max, and Best Buy this year if you’re willing to wait in those lines! Couponing to Disney sorted the major retailer’s ads by category and gives you the best deals.

In my opinion, the best deals to get this year are online.  The in-store deals are so limited usually (ever read the fine print on the ad where it says 2 per store?) and you need to be up so early! I know for some it’s the thrill of the hunt but you can still hunt the best deals online! Amazon has lightening deals all weekend long that are limited.  You can get the same thrill from shopping online! And you don’t have to wait for Cyber Monday to get them – most retailers are having sales starting right now.

Remember to use a cash back shopping site whenever you shop online.  Choose between Ebates, Shop at Home, Mr Rebates and Cashbaq – each of them will give you $5 for signing up and then choose the one that offers the highest percentage cash back for you.

I’ll be posting some online deals that I think are really good ones and I’ll post the CVS and Walgreens Black Friday match-ups.  There are lots of great free after rewards items that match up with coupons to give you good stocking stuffers.
