Karen at Frugal RI Mama has this week’s hot CVS deals and match-ups. I’m highlighting a few below but you’ll want to read her full post for the rest of the list!

If you’re new to CVS deals shopping, please read my CVS 101 post.

Karen’s highlights are first then my scenario follows.

TRESemme, On Sale  3/$12.00 Get $3.00 ECB’s wyb 3 (limit 1)
Final Cost: $9.00 or $3.00 each after ECB’s

Colgate 360 Sonic, microSonic or Sponge Bob power toothbrush, On Sale $5.99 Get $3.00 ECB’s (limit 1)
Final Cost: $2.99 after ECB’s

Oral-B single manual toothbrush Indicator, Advantage, Cross Action or Zooth, On Sale $2.99 Get $2.00 ECB’s (limit 1)
Use $1.00/2 Zooth Toothbrush cpn in 11-29-09 P&G insert

NyQuil or DayQuil liquid 6oz, LiquiCaps 12ct, or Plus Vitamin C 10ct. $4.99, On Sale Get $4.00 ECB’s wyb 2 (limit 1)
Use $1.50 cpn in 11-01-09 P&G and 11-29-09 P&G inserts
Buy 2
Final Cost: $2.98 for 2 after ECB’s ($1.49 each)

My scenario assumes you are starting with no ECB’s.  If you have some ECB’s then use them to pay for Transaction 1 and you’ll reduce your OOP to almost 0!

Transaction 1
Buy 1 Accu-Check Aviva Monitor, On sale for $14.99, get $5.00 ECB’s
Use the $10 coupon from the 11/8 SS
Pay $4.99 OOP, get back $5.00 in ECB’s

Transaction 2
Buy 1 Oral-B Manual Toothbrush, On sale for $2.99, get $2.00 ECB’s
Use the $.75 coupon from the 11/29 PG
Buy $2.76 worth of additional products
Use the ECB’s from Transaction 1
Pay 0 OOP and get back $2 in ECB’s
