From My Inbox…

by Nicole on November 19, 2009

Here is what in is my inbox this week…

*Melissa from Getting all my Ducks in a Row emailed to tell me about a great website StoveTop has launched called  It is an initiative focused on paying forward acts of kindness to those around us, in the hopes that they will be inspired to do the same. They are hoping that people will actively become involved in spreading the warmth in their communities, and will be tracking declared acts through tweets with the hashtag #STW. In addition, they are encouraging everyone to share their good deeds on for a chance to win $5000 dollars for the charity of their choice, along with $2500 dollars for themselves this holiday season.  This is a great contest for a great cause!

*Gina at Moneywise Moms is hosting a $10 Food Bank Challenge at her blog.  She is asking readers and bloggers to participate by taking $10 from their grocery budget and working their couponing magic to see what they can purchase to donate to their local school, church, or food bank.

*Become a fan of Bumble Bee Tuna and get a $1 off coupon on any 3 of their specialty products.

*Reader Janice shared about the cord blood banking group discounts offered by MAZE cord blood laboratories.  She explains that the group discount would be good for parents who attend a Lamaze, prenatal yoga or other childbirth classes, and know of other parents who are considering banking their baby’s cord blood.

*Shop it to Me is giving away 1 pair of Christian Louboutin shoes! You can enter through November 20 and there are extra entries for tweeting.  There aren’t many entries as of the time I am writing this post so go and enter! You must be a Shop it to Me member to enter so sign up here!

*Amanda at A Few Shortcuts is hosting a cooke exchange on her blog.  Go grab some new cookie recipes to try out!

Hi All – We look forward to helping prospective moms navigate the cord blood debate. See the objective website for news on stem cell research as well as info on competitive pricing (including banks that dont charge annual storage fees, like MAZE!)
Warm regard-s,
