December Online Offers

by Nicole on December 23, 2009

Here is December’s online offers post! For those of you who are new, I have posted extensive directions on how to complete these offers.

Please, you MUST read the previous posts (here, here, and here) I have written about these offers very carefully – also read the comments left on those posts as those serve kind of as “frequently asked questions” that I respond to as well. If you have any questions, email or leave a comment. It’s better to ask the question than to do something you aren’t sure of and have it result in an unsuccessful offer.

It is very possible to be successful with these offers! Remember, you can only earn $1,000 in prizes from each Ideal sub-company (i.e. Bullseye, 123, etc.) so choose wisely! At the time of the posting of this, none of the offers posted required referrals. Offers can change at any time so be sure to review the terms and conditions before registering! FYI – I am hearing of people getting disqualified because they did an offer that was $500 plus a T-shirt and then when they do another $500 offer with the same sub-company are disqualified because they have technically done over $1,000 with that sub-company as the T-shirt has value! Be careful with these technicalities!

None of the offers below required referrals at the time I posted but the terms can change so check carefully. Also, some of the $500 offers are now 2-2-8 instead of 2-2-4 so please make sure to read your terms and conditions before signing up! Also, I am receiving some reader comments and emails that they are getting calls from telemarketers after signing up for some offers. I have never had this experience but did want to make everyone aware of this.

Hello
I rec. my first $500 visa on Dec 23 – yeah!! So I am trying for another from top notch- when I check my status is it normal to see all of my old offers that were approved or pending from my first card?

2 annon December 26, 2009 at 9:21 pm

also on the offer pages is shows a bonus offer- if you complete that will that take the place of the other 2 or 4 offers you have to complete?

3 nicolesnickels December 27, 2009 at 6:58 am

I am not sure of the answer to your question but perhaps someone who has done 2 Top Notches will respond. You’re not doing the exact same $500 offer again are you?

4 nicolesnickels December 27, 2009 at 7:01 am

No, the bonus ffer doesn’t take the place of all of the offers, it’s just another offer you do (part of the 2 or 4 that you need to do in that category) that gets you a bonus.

5 annon December 27, 2009 at 8:03 pm

Thanks for the quick response- I don’t believe it was the same offer but when my other approved offers showed up when i checked my status it made me wonder. So if i were not to complete this top notch offer could I complete another from bulleye with out being dq or denied? thanks

I also received my(e-solutions media) $500 K-mart cards Dec 23 and I was a happy camper! Included in that offer I completed a one month membership to Nicole’s Advantage which came with $50 in gift cards. My question is can I do another $500 With Top Notch or Bullseye will this dq me and put me over the $1,000 since these companies are probably related? This get’s a little confusing to me!
I want to do another one right away but want to be carefull

7 nicolesnickels December 28, 2009 at 7:32 am

Doing another offer now would be fine.

8 nicolesnickels December 28, 2009 at 7:34 am

The giftcards you got from Nicole’s Saving aren’t related to the bigger $500 offer. The ones you need to worry about being DQ’d are when the original big offer is something like $500 giftcard PLUS T-shirt as the T-shirt has value. If a small offer you do has giftcards as part of it those do not count as far as DQ purposes. Hope that helps.

Thank you so much, by you answering these questions help me understand better about how the program works. This sure cleared up things for me.
Thanks a million

Hi there! Just wanted to say thanks for the postings on these. I got my first $500 gift card in the mail today and I think I scared the FedEx guy since I was jumping up and down and dancing in the driveway. :) These are a GREAT deal for those of us who are anal retentive by nature…it’s not really much for me to keep track of all these offers and read the fine print since that’s in my nature anyway. Thank you so much for your advice and postings on these. I’m going to start my next one tonight!
BTW: Anyone had any experience with what to expect when tax time rolls around? I’m assuming these will be taxed at around 50%?

11 Anna M December 29, 2009 at 6:30 pm

I got my visa GC today 12/29, from your post on Hip 2 save in October! Thanks. I might do another again.

12 Katie December 30, 2009 at 12:30 am

YAY! I got my gift card yesterday. I did it back in October when you posted on Hip2Save. Now that that is gone, I’m really not sure where it was from, lol! I always just opened that page and clicked the link. =) Thank you so much for all of your help!
Kate

Hip2Save isn’t gone – you can catch her at http://www.hip2save.com

I completed my first offer, a $500 gift cert. from Top Notch, on Dec 19th. I had both silver approve on the same day, both gold approve on the same day, and now, yesterday I had 3 of the 4 platnium offers approve. Do they all approve within a group at the same time? Should I go ahead and do another offer or wait a few more days because of the holiday? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

A few more questions for your expertise… I keep reading about being disqualified for repeating offers from the same company…
1. If I do a top notch offer and complete an offer for orthowhite, can I do another top notch offer and complete an offer for ivorywhite (I read that orthowhite & ivorywhite have the same parent company)?
2. Or, could I do a bullseye offer and complete an offer for ivorywhite, since I already use orthowhite on a top notch offer?
3. In 6 months or a year (per there requirements), can I complete another offer for orthowhite through Top Notch?
4. Does your email address have to be the same throughout all of IDEAL or just throughout Top Notch (and you could have another email address for Bullseye)? I was thinking to use my name for Top Notch and my husbands for Bullseye, so I wouldn’t get confused.

16 nicolesnickels December 30, 2009 at 6:29 pm

Yes they all approve as a group. You can go ahead and do a replacement.

17 nicolesnickels December 30, 2009 at 6:31 pm

1. Yes
2. Also yes
3. I think so though am less sure of this answer. To be on the safe side I wouldn’t but I don’t think it is strictly prohibited.
4. Again not sure but to be safe I would use the same email address, I always have.

18 Katie Hurley January 2, 2010 at 4:57 pm

Hi Nicole! I just sat down and tried to complete all offers for my very first gift card offer! I am really excited (but still a little nervous!), and I have a question… When I checked my status, I noticed that one of the offers that I did under the Gold category, actually showed as “pending” under the Platinum category. It’s been at least an hour, should I give it more time? If it continues to process the way it shows, I will have actually completed 5 platinum and only 1 gold! Ah! Should I just suck it up and go ahead and do yet another gold offer? Thank you SO much for all your help!!

19 nicolesnickels January 2, 2010 at 9:46 pm

I would wait to see what approves and in what category and then do all replacements the day after you see platinums approve.

20 Erin January 3, 2010 at 7:12 pm

If I started an online offer and never finished, but it has not yet been 60 days, can my husband do the same one? I would then not complete mine. I have never done an online offer with that particular company, so they only have my email from the start page.

21 nicolesnickels January 3, 2010 at 7:38 pm

Because I am not 100% sure, I recommend that you choose another offer under another sub-company to do.

22 Elise January 3, 2010 at 8:30 pm

Are these offers still good, even though it’s no longer December? This is my “first” time attempting one, so I just want to make sure! thanks!! :)

23 Elise January 3, 2010 at 8:35 pm

One more thing…when we do the offers like the Disney Movie Club. We sign up and get 3 dvds for 1.99. Then we have to order 5 DVDs within the next 2 years. Will it approve me after I pay for the 3 dvds, or do I need to order the other 5 before Top Notch approves that offer?

24 nicolesnickels January 3, 2010 at 8:39 pm

I post once a month and an offer is good if you click the link and it opens and has the terms and requirements you agree with. The December post was just posted in the last 2 weeks and most offers should still be valid.

25 nicolesnickels January 3, 2010 at 8:40 pm

Ideal will approve an offer once you have signed up for it. That is the only requirement.

26 Katie January 4, 2010 at 4:57 pm

Do you know if I can do two Bullseye offers at the same time? =) They would both be $500 offers, so no reason to be disqualified for going over the limit – I’m thinking I want to do the two you listed last under Bullseye.

27 nicolesnickels January 4, 2010 at 5:30 pm

It shouldn’t be a problem.

28 Elise January 4, 2010 at 8:46 pm

Does anyone know how long it takes for the free credit report offers to approve? I want to sign up for some of them, but they’re only 7 day trials, and I really don’t want to pay the $15 a month after that on them… lol Do they approve before the 7 day trial is over?

29 nicolesnickels January 4, 2010 at 8:47 pm

It depends on what category you do them in – silvers approve within 1-2 days, golds in 3-5 and platinums in 10-12.

30 Elise January 4, 2010 at 9:24 pm

oh, darn! I’m done with my silver and golds already. Good to know for next time though! Thanks so much, Nicole! I love your blog :)

As soon as an offer is approved, I can cancel my membership, right? Or do I need to wait until all offers (silver, gold and platinum) are ALL approved before cancelling anything?

31 Shanika January 5, 2010 at 6:43 pm

Hello Nicole, I’ve been wanting to do these offers for a while. but I’ve been very nervous about using my debits cards on these offers. I have a paypal debit card and they don’t have the virtual number option. do you think it is ok to go ahead and use my debit card on these offers? or should I buy a visa gift card and use it? would that be safer?
Thank you so much.

32 nicolesnickels January 5, 2010 at 6:49 pm

I’ve posted several times about this. NEVER use a debit card for these offers. If you are mischarged you will be out the money while they investigate. With a credit card you dispute the charge and never pay the money. If you don’t have a credit card get a prepaid and register it for online use.

33 Shanika January 5, 2010 at 9:30 pm

Thank you Nicole! I think I will apply for a credit card and use that. I saw that on one your posts you said you have a discover card. do you mind telling what kind of a discover card you have? I’ve never had a credit card.

34 nicolesnickels January 5, 2010 at 9:32 pm

I have a Discover card and also a Blue from American Express as well as a Citibank Mastercard. I don’t spend more than I have (ever!) and pay my balance in full every month. The only way I can recommend getting a credit card is if you are disciplined enough to do that. I got my credit cards because of the rewards they offer and use my Citibank card that offers cash back the most. Hope that helps!

35 Lesly January 6, 2010 at 12:40 pm

Hi!
My other post didnt come through. Im nervous about getting my offers completed. I did the 2-2-4 for a $500 visa card. but i did 5 of the offers were for credit score checking -all for different websites but still… do you think they will approve?

36 nicolesnickels January 6, 2010 at 1:29 pm

If the offers are from the same parent company then you may be disqualified but it’s not guaranteed!

37 Lesly January 6, 2010 at 2:16 pm

I tried to look up and see if they were from parent companies but i didnt find much info. just adds. do you should i do different offers? You have no idea how thankful i am for ur help!! thanks again!!!

38 tina January 6, 2010 at 4:11 pm

hi,
i just have a general question about these offers. i’ve run across offers listed on facebook from websites like http://www.gamer-hookups.com/offer?CID=2829&PID=170599&SID=&TID=676598672&c1=&c2=&c3= or http://directcameradeals.com/d5000/?lid=d5000_21_Z107F108&add_offerid=593344&addomain=ileadsoffers.com&addomain_id=6 and i’m wondering if they are legitimate.

39 nicolesnickels January 6, 2010 at 4:20 pm

I can’t comment on offers like this as I don’t have any experience with them.

40 Jessica January 7, 2010 at 12:22 am

Hey Nicole,

My deal approved with Top Notch back in October. So about a week ago I emailed the company (again) and was told that my reward did approve, they just had a backlog and that is why I have not received my prize. Have you heard from anyone else who has had this issue?

Thanks,
Jessica

41 nicolesnickels January 7, 2010 at 6:33 am

I’ve never heard of it but it does sometimes take longer to receive a prize than other times. If they acknowledged your email and said it will be coming I have no reason not to believe them based on my experiences.

42 Elise January 7, 2010 at 1:39 pm

so if I did Identity Guard and CreditReport.com (both credit checking companies, no clue who the “parent’ company is) and they’ve both been approved (did them both on silver level) then they would both qualify, right?

Also, if Berry MD and Green Tea Fit are from the same parent company, then we can get disqualified?

43 nicolesnickels January 7, 2010 at 3:31 pm

I can’t comment on specific offers as it’s prohibited by the terms and conditions. If the offers approve that doesn’t mean you are fine though – the DQ comes after all requirements are met.

44 Elise January 7, 2010 at 5:40 pm

I *think* this should be my last question… ;) But, I know we can’t have multiple email addresses for the same company, but we can have a seperate addy for Bullseye and Top Notch, right? The terms and conditions just say same email for all companies owned and operated by Bullseye….

45 nicolesnickels January 7, 2010 at 5:43 pm

I would rather be safe than sorry and not give them a reason to DQ me – I have always used the same email address for every Ideal offer I have done.

46 Elise January 7, 2010 at 6:51 pm

I read somewhere else to set up a new email for each company, so I could track everything easier w/my offers. I’m totally regretting it now! Thanks, Nicole, for such fast replies :)

47 Jessica January 14, 2010 at 12:44 pm

Nicole,

I am SOOO excited. Fed Ex finally brought my $500 Visa Gift Card today!!! The process nearly gave me an ulcer, but it was so worth it. Plus, it forced me outside of my comfort zone which was probably good for me. Thank you for all your help. I am posting it on my blog tonight and I am going to link to you “the expert”in these matters. :)

Thanks again!
Jessica

48 Andrea J. January 20, 2010 at 6:19 pm

Nicole,
Just wanted to send a BIG THANK YOU for your site and will be sending the same to Carrie. Got my first $500 offer from Fedex today and it didn’t take as long as I expected. I mailed out my certificate on December 4 and it was approved on December 14. It only took 5 weeks and 2 days from the approval date for delivery (and Fedex attempted to deliver it yesterday, but I wasn’t home!)

Thanks again!
Andrea

49 Jackie January 21, 2010 at 2:57 pm

I was approved for the $500/Tshirt offer. It says the offer was processed on Dec. 7 and should arrive within 6 – 8 weeks. I am over 6 weeks now. Is it normal for it to take the entire 8 weeks? I am tired of being patient :) LOL. Thanks for your help.

50 Jackie January 21, 2010 at 3:01 pm

Just read Jessica’s comment that hers approved in Oct and they had a backlog. I will call them after the 8 weeks to check. Hope it comes soon. Thanks again,
Jackie
