Did you get some giftcards for the holidays? I did and there are some I definitely won’t use. I received a few for small denominations at fairly pricey stores so I know if I use them I’ll be shelling out some additional funds which isn’t something I want to do. Still others are from stores that aren’t convenient to where I live and will require driving to redeem them.
Are you in the same boat? I found a great solution. I am going to sell back my cards to Plastic Jungle and get Amazon e-certificates instead! For a $25 giftcard I just got $20.00 in Amazon money which I find personally much more useful. You can also get cash from Plastic Jungle though the amount you receive won’t be face value of the giftcard.
It’s FREE to register at Plastic Jungle and there is no handling or processing fee. You just tell them what giftcards you have and in what denomination and they give you an offer showing you how much Amazon money and how much cash you will get. If you accept their offer, you just print a mailing label directly from their site, drop it in the mail and in about a week you’ll get your Amazon code or cash, depending on what you chose.

I started Nicole's Nickels in February 2009 to bring all of the great deals I was finding to my friends and family and then it took off! Since then I've continued my full-time day job as an attorney while blogging in the evenings and on weekends. I help my clients during the days at the non-profit I work for and then my Nicole's Nickels readers trying to find the best deals for their family! I live in south/central Florida and have 2 cute dogs (see their picture under "mascots") and an amazing boyfriend who has a spunky 6 year old we get to spend a lot of time with. I love telling my readers about great deals and also about the cool products I get to try. Most of all I love giving stuff away to my readers! I hope you'll take the time to
