Hi, Nicole-

Your site is wonderful! I have a question: I notice that sometimes, you mention that you can apply a coupon to something that is less than what the coupon is worth and get that item for free. (Ex: the deal above on the Rimmel mascara) But I tried that at my local store and the computer would not accept the coupon because it was worth more than the item. DO you know if this is a coupon issue or a local store issue? THANK YOU!

Hi Alisha: I have never had issues with this at my WalMart – when a coupon is scanned that is higher value than the item it beeps and the cashier always pushes it through, giving me overage. I would ask them to just give you up to the price of the item then. Walmart will get paid the full coupon amount and some cashiers and managers do not understand how it works. You can try calling corporate or the district manager but Walmart isn’t the easiest company to deal with in this regard.
