This is a reminder that if you haven’t already please join my team for the BeeWell for Life Bee Squad Challenge that started yesterday. You’ll need to keep track of your miles and then report them to me so we can get a final tally. It’s easy to do and for a great cause!
You register (for FREE) on the BeeWell for Life website which is Bumble Bee’s site geared towards fitness and healthy eating. Then you join my “team” called the Nicole’s Nickels Neptunes and each week between June 15 and August 15, 2010 log the miles you run/walk/bike every day. The team that logs the most miles wins! The winning team leader and winning team member who logs the highest miles will win a package that includes a gym bag, tote, water bottle, lunch caddy, towel and hat and every member of the winning team gets a tote bag for their help!
But the best part of this challenge is that for every mile logged Bumble Bee will donate $.15 to Breast Cancer Network of Strength a fabulous initiative. Sounds too good to be true? There’s no catch – the folks at Bumble Bee are just that serious about their commitment to healthy living.
So please consider taking a few minutes to sign up. It’s completely FREE and by simply logging your miles you’ll earn money for charity, help me (and one of you) win the prize (and bragging rights), and maybe even burn some extra calories!
To sign up, register at BeeWell for Life and click on BeeSocial- you’ll find Nicole’s Nickels Neptunes under “Bee Squad Challenge” – leave a comment in that thread in the forum and I can add you to my virtual team. You can email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions.
I am a member of Bumble Bee’s Bee Squad but was not required to participate in the Bee Squad BeeWell Challenge – I chose to participate because I think it’s a great cause and I could use some fitness motivation!
