I started Nicole's Nickels in February 2009 to bring all of the great deals I was finding to my friends and family and then it took off! Since then I've continued my full-time day job as an attorney while blogging in the evenings and on weekends. I help my clients during the days at the non-profit I work for and then my Nicole's Nickels readers trying to find the best deals for their family! I live in south/central Florida and have 2 cute dogs (see their picture under "mascots") and an amazing boyfriend who has a spunky 6 year old we get to spend a lot of time with. I love telling my readers about great deals and also about the cool products I get to try. Most of all I love giving stuff away to my readers! I hope you'll take the time to

I’m curious about the $+UP Reward limits. Does the limit refer to each transaction or a total? I’ve read reports of the Nivea for Men ($1.99) generating one $+UP Reward for each bottle of Nivea purchased. So some people bought 8 bottles at once and received $8 +UP Rewards. It doesn’t seem to make a whole lot of rhyme-or-reason sense.
Fairydust,
The Rite Aid +UP Reward limits is a little confusing right now. There is supposed to be a limit of 1/transaction, but the Nivea does seem to be working for multiple items in a transaction (at least it was…they could change it at any time).
I have heard that RA will soon be imposing limits on the rewards (similar to CVS), but they have not indicated what the limits are yet. I have heard that some items are rolling (meaning you will get +UP Rewards for each transaction) and some must have limits, since they are not printing after a certain number of that item purchased. I listed the limit as 1, since there is no guarantee that you will get +UP Rewards for anything more than 1 time per item.
Confusing, right? I hope that they start making the limits clear soon!
hello..I have always look at your site for the wonderful deals sinceL i just started doing the cvs deals and now i am interested indoing the rite aid deals as well but frankly speaking very confusing…first question.. do i have to apply for a card like cvs does? .. second about the SCR.. how many rebate are you allowed to do once a month? I went to there website and there were a lot of rebates by group… I was thinking of doing the oral care rebate since I am just starting is that means I cannot get anymore SCR since I am doing the oral care rebate? sorry if i even confuse you..lol.. thank you..
Liza,
The Rite Aid deals can definitely be confusing!
Yes, you do need to apply for a Rite Aid Wellness card. You can either apply in-store or online .
The Oral Care rebate is a perfect rebate to do, since it can be paired with some other great deals. You can do as many rebates in a month as you want. However, each specific rebate has a limit on it. For example, the limit on the Oral Care rebate is 1. But, for example, you could also do the Listerine Pocketpak rebate this week also. Each of those rebates have different SCR #’s.
You can only request your rebate check once per month, though, so you want to wait until the end of the monthly rebate period to request your check. I will enter my receipts as soon as I make a purchase and then request my rebate check for the entire month at the end of the last week in the month period.
I hope that helps!
