University-Sponsored Surveys

by Nicole on September 8, 2010

I’ve posted about these university sponsored survey sites before but just took 2 really simple surveys and scored $10 in Amazon giftcards so I wanted to remind you of them!

They will all advise what the payout for the survey is.  I don’t do the ones where you aren’t guaranteed a giftcard anymore but the odds on winning those are usually pretty good if you have a  few extra minutes.

Here are the ones I am a part of:

Stanford Graduate School of Business Behavioral Lab

UCLA Anderson School of Management Behavioral Lab

eLab at the Yale School of Management

Columbia University Center for Decision Sciences

Psychological Studies at Harvard University

Lewis & Clark College Behavioral Health & Social Psychology Lab – take survey to sign up

You don’t need to be a student to sign up.  Some of them will have in person surveys available which you obviously can’t do unless you’re located nearby.  I have only ever done the online surveys.  I find them interested and much more psychology-based than the normal product surveys I do.

Thank you for sharing – just recently starting following your blog so I had not seen this before.

I am signed up with a group that pays $1 – $2 to PayPal – it really is hardly worth my time to do….

Thanks for compiling the list 😉

It would be good to check/update your links for these university surveys. Only two of them still had the option to sign up, one is no longer taking new respondents, one link is an “untrusted connection,” and several were 404s-no longer working links.

I was hoping to sign up for all these sites, but was only able to register for the Yale eLab and the Stanford School of Business lab.
