Cuddles from Carter’s: Helping Children in Need

by Nicole on October 5, 2011

Carter’s Inc. is launching “Cuddles from Carter’s”, a program to provide clothing to children in extreme need. As part of this program, Carter’s has committed 50,000 pairs of pajamas, valued at $500,000, to the Pajama Program, a national non-profit organization which delivers new pajamas and books to children in foster care, temporary housing or homeless shelters.  I love companies that give back and salute Carter’s for their heroic efforts here!

In addition, Carter’s is reaching out to its customers to raise awareness about Pajama Program’s mission and give them the opportunity to help. Starting Oct. 3, customers who shop at a Carter’s store or online at can help the Pajama Program by adding a donation to their purchase upon checkout. All customer donations will go directly to the Pajama Program. In-store donations can be made through Oct. 17 while online donations continue through Dec. 31. Donation amount options are $1, $3 and $5 when customers shop at a Carter’s store, and $1, $5 and $10 online at

Visit Cuddles from Carter’s to donate and find store locations near you and Pajama Program for more information.   Make sure to “like” Carter’s on Facebook  to stay up to date on the Cuddles from Carter’s program and learn more about upcoming promotions.

Make sure to take advantage of this exclusive online promotional code:  PJFUN.   It’s valid 10/3 – 10/17 at 3:00 a.m. and will give 20% off $40+ and is valid on Carter’s product only.  This code is not stackable with any other offers.

The “Cuddles from Carter’s” donation drive comes during Danger Season which is October-March.  Many underprivileged youth live in homes without adequate heating and the need for pajamas is huge.     Did you know that more than 500,000 children are currently living in a shelter or foster care in the U.S. and among industrialized nations, the United States has the largest number of homeless women and children.  Kudos to Carter’s for doing what they can to assist children in need!
