Kellogg’s FiberPlus Review and Giveaway

by Nicole on November 22, 2011

Name of Product: Kellogg’s FiberPlus products

Where to Buy:  at grocers nationwide

Description of Product: “In 1915, W.K. Kellogg, the founder of Kellogg’s cereals, invented Bran Flakes®, the world’s first high-fiber breakfast cereal. Today, fiber has evolved into the great taste of Kellogg’s FiberPlus® cereals – which are also rich in antioxidant vitamins C and E and provide 25 grams of whole grains per serving. Fiber may be a famous super-nutrient, but most Americans aren’t getting the amount of fiber recommended for a healthy diet.* In addition to promoting good digestive health, fiber also helps support good heart health and may help reduce the risk of certain cancers and diabetes. Kellogg’s FiberPlus® cereals contain at least 35% of your daily fiber.”

Review of Product:  I am in LOVE with the FiberPlus caramel coconut fudge bars- they taste just like those yummy Girl Scout cookies which shall remain nameless.  How much better is it to have a FiberPlus bar than a whole sleeve of cookies? I have been actively trying to get more fiber into my diet and FiberPlus lets me do so in the form of bars or cereal.  We also tried the caramel pecan crunch cereal and loved it.  The FiberPlus items have a lot of flavor and are a great way to get fiber in!
