Description of Product:  Girl’s Expedition Parka: “Just like mom’s (only smaller) — this ready-for-anything coat is packed with everything she needs for snow days and ski getaways. We built each one to be the “warmest” on our exclusive temperature rating scale and made it impervious to wind and water, so she stays dry and toasty no matter which adventures she takes. What’s more, we added an amazing amount of detail including our interior Stowaway Pocket for stashing hats, hand-warmer holders in the front pockets plus an MP3 player pouch with cord port (in Little Girl and Girl sizes only). And we Guarantee. Period.® her Expedition parka will last, however harsh the elements (or wear and tear). Hits below the hip. Removable faux-fur hood (dry clean only). 100% nylon shell and lining. Machine wash. Imported.”

Girl’s Expedition Snowpants: “Swishing down the slopes or scooping up snowballs — our quality-made (kid-sized) snow pants are specially designed to keep her dry and toasty. We make each pair super water-resistant with our patented DriOff™ finish, and then pack them with PolarThin™ insulation to add extra warmth without the bulk. With durable, reinforced Cordura® nylon lining at the knees & seat, and plenty of side cargo pockets for storing all her snow gear. Machine wash. Imported.”

Review of Product: From my cousin: “The Girls Expedition Parka is great!! My daughter loves it. The removable inner jacket has come in very useful during the fall temperatures. It is easy to remove and replace. The sleeves are removable as well to make a very cute vest! I love the Snow Guard on the sleeves, it keeps the cold wind out as well as snow. We also love the Girls Expedition snow pant. The knees and bottom are constructed of a tough Nylon so they will not wear out quickly. There is a Snow Guard on the leg to prevent the snow getting in. The interior waste adjustment is great! Not only will the length grow with her, but the waste also. My daughter can’t wait for the snow to start flying so she can wear her new gear!

From Me: I cannot tell you how much I trust Lands’ End with things like parkas and snowpants for my family.  My cousin, his wife and their 2 young daughters just moved to Vermont recently and I knew they were going to need some warm winter clothes! Since we’re in south Florida, no snowpants needed here! My cousin was happy to get the Girl’s Expedition Parka and the Girl’s Expedition Snowpants for her too cute daughter Sophia, pictured here.  How adorable is she! I know these Lands’ End winter items will be very durable and sturdy and keep that little girl warm and dry in the cold Vermont winter – just what she needs!

I received a sample of these products to review at no charge but my opinions remain my own.
