by Nicole on January 24, 2012

Name of Product: P.F. Chang’s Home Menu Items

Where can the product be purchased: at grocers nationwide

Description of Product:  “Prosperity, peace, happiness and longevity all symbolize the Chinese New Year, one of the most important and festive Chinese holidays. In this “Year of the Dragon” beginning January 23, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro and P.F. Chang’s Home Menu want to ignite your good fortune and share the spirit of this holiday with you.

The eve of Chinese New Year, January 22nd, is marked by the reunion of loved ones for a feast. Along with the reunion dinner, the Red Envelope itself represents another significant tradition in Chinese culture. Red Envelopes, filled with gifts, are presented to family and friends during the Chinese New Year. The color red symbolizes good luck, and this Kit – filled with festive items – is our way of helping you celebrate and share the good fortune.

There are a wide variety of P.F. Chang’s Home Menu noodles for you to enjoy! The flavors of Home Menu noodle entrees include Pepper Steak with Chow Fun Noodles, Grilled Chicken Teriyaki with Lo Mein Noodles, Garlic Chicken with Dan Dan Noodles, and Firecracker Shrimp with Yakisoba Noodles.

Find us on Twitter @PFChangs, or on Facebook ( to share the Chinese New Year celebration excitement. Don’t forget to tell friends to join the fun, and be on the lookout for a fun Facebook application that will provide you good fortune for the New Year. Stay tuned!”

Review of Product: I received a Red Envelope Kit to celebrate the NEw Year. It contained:

Two P. F. Chang’s Home Menu noodle entrees
· A $10 gift certificate to enjoy at any P.F. Chang’s China Bistro
· Paper lanterns
· Chinese calendar
· Special “Year of the Dragon” T-shirt

This was so much fun! We had a blast putting on the T-shirt and looking over the calendar.  We made both of the meals that came with it – Firecracker Shrimp and Chicken Teriyaki. They were both flavorful and I really liked the semi-spicy taste of the Firecracker Shrimp! The lanterns were fun to hang in Noah’s room and we liked celebrating this fun holiday together thanks to P.F. Chang’s Home Menu!

I received a sample of these products to review at no charge but my opinions remain my own.
