Tide Pods Review and Giveaway

by Nicole on March 29, 2012

Name of Product: Tide Pods

Where to Buy:  at retailers nationwide

Price of Product:  affordable!

Description of Product: “After years of research, P&G learned that many people have become completely disengaged with the laundry process and disappointed with inconsistent results. New Tide Pods are a convenient, unit dose laundry detergent that looks unlike anything seen in the marketplace.

Faced with more than 900 different possible conditions in each load, laundry can be complicated! Tide PODS are designed to work in the most challenging laundry conditions, and make the task simpler and less time-consuming. With the introduction of Tide Pods, Tide aims to do the impossible – elevate laundry from a frustrating chore to a delightful and rewarding experience.

Tide Pods are also designed for easy use in any type of washer, with any size load. Simply place a pac into the drum of a front or top-loader before your items to be washed and experience the great clean you expect from Tide without the need to measure, pour or clean up messy spills.

Innovation that Improves Daily Life

Get Small: Tide Pods offer the power of Tide in the palm of your hand, giving you the proper dose each time you do laundry. They are compacted to use less water than traditional detergents. Tide Pods packages also weigh approximately 50% less than comparable packages of liquid detergent – making them much easier to carry and use!
Get Multi: Tide Pods’ new, patented three chamber design helps to separate such ingredients as hard water modifiers, stain fighters, perfume and whitener so that they remain stable and potent and mix only in wash water. This allows the Tide Pods to deliver a deep-down clean in a range of conditions.
Get Cold: 40% of Americans do their laundry in cold water more often than not in an effort to save time and money. In response to this, Tide Pods are made with a new, best-in-class film that dissolves and works effectively in all water temperatures – even in very cold water!

A New Way of Thinking and Doing
Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines innovation as the introduction of something new, be it an idea, a method or device. We want to hear about a time that an innovation (or the introduction of something new to you) changed the way you think or act for the better. What caused you to change the way you view a situation or made you take action to make a positive change in your life? Has a new appliance or gadget revolutionized the way you go about your day? Well, we want to know all about it. Bloggers who post their personal anecdote will have a chance to win an electronic reader – an innovative digital product that can help further simplify life’s many daily demands, including scheduling time to do the kids’ laundry!”

Review of Product:  I am a Tide user and don’t really use any other kind of detergent.  That being said, I’m always excited when Tide comes out with a new product and these Pods had me very excited.  And yes, I realize it may be sad that laundry items have me excited but well, that’s just my life I guess! I had some doubts about these Pods because I didn’t think they would completely dissolve in my old washing machine especially on the cold water setting – I’m glad to report I was wrong! They work really well and have the familiar Tide scent we are used to in this house.  I’m all for anything that makes life easier – and the Tide Pods definitely do!
