This week’s Pin came to us from Make.Bake.Celebrate, and they are pretty fabulous looking, don’t you agree? This is a cookie that will scream to kids (and non-kids alike) “Come Eat ME”! There is something so compelling about the color combo and the sprinkles I was drawn to them right away.
My only concern about them is they look like they might be a bit of work to pull off and I am all about projects not taking too much time. The web site gave the first clue on simplification – use store bought sugar cookie dough – if you’d like…Perfect!
Then you cut the dough into four chunks and mix in the food coloring to each chunk. Next you make grape size balls of each color. Roll one of each color into a bigger ball and then roll that into a log, which gets rolled into the spiral you see above. But to save some more time, I might just stop at the bigger ball.
If you stopped there, flattened them and rolled the edges in sprinkles I think you’d still have a great Halloween cookie treat! I think I’m going to give them a try, both ways, and see how they look. IF they turn out ok, I might even post a picture!

I started Nicole's Nickels in February 2009 to bring all of the great deals I was finding to my friends and family and then it took off! Since then I've continued my full-time day job as an attorney while blogging in the evenings and on weekends. Nicole's Nickels has evolved into a site that lets you know about great new products and services! I help my clients during the days at the non-profit I work for and then my Nicole's Nickels readers learn about the best new products for their families! I live in south/central Florida and have 2 cute dogs (see their picture under "mascots") and an amazing husband who has a spunky 6 year old we get to spend a lot of time with. I hope you'll take the time to

Yummy!! Thank you:)
I’m not so sure I could pull off a fancy cookie like that but it’s very colorful and looks delicious.
Those are so cool! I’m not sure I could make them, but I might give it a try.
