10/9 Pinterest Pin of the Week: Zombie Marshmallows!

by Pennie on October 9, 2012

The Halloween items are piling up on Pinterest as we get further along in October.  This week’s Pinterest post: Zombie Marshmallows!

I’m always looking for creative ideas that my grandson could execute.  I think these are simple enough for him to try.  Besides, the more horrible they look, the better!  And if they look REALLY bad, you can just eat them!

These call for using a food color pen, which I’ve never seen, but for what you are doing here, I think you could just dip a toothpick in food color and paint it on.  As you will see on The Decorated Cookie, where this Pin originated, the marshmallows are also mounted on lollipop sticks, which makes them easy and mess free for little kids to handle.  Also on the Zombie page are links to marshmallow ghosts and skeletons, a whole graveyard of fun!

This is just the cutest thing I’ve seen for Halloween. It would be really cool to make a big one with hundreds of marshmellows then put in a window. :)

Love this idea! I’m going to show this to my niece, and we can make them together.

These are so cute! Where would we be without Pinterest? I wish it were around when my kids had holiday parties at school. :)
