Valastro is a fourth generation baker born into a bakery business owned and operated by his parents. He was born in Hoboken and raised in an old fashioned Italian family. Buddy is an accomplished master baker and cake decorator and star of the reality TV series, Cake Boss, which launched on TLC in April 2009 and is now going into its sixth season.”

Review of Product: I am a loyal BJ’s club member and love that they regularly introduce fabulous new products like this impressive line of cakes from the Cake Boss himself! I am going to choose the Badda Bloom cake to try – it’s a chocolate and vanilla layer cake with buttercream frosting and how yummy does that sound! The cakes are so great looking, you almost won’t want to eat them! It’s special being able to buy a cake from such a famous pastry chef!

I received a sample of these products to review at no charge but my opinions remain my own.

I was tempted to buy the yellow frosted cake from BJ’s, but I noticed it had a big bubble on top. Two weeks later I’m back at Bj’s and the cake is STILL there. Same cake, same bubble in the same spot. When I bake a cake from scratch it will not last being out in room temperature two weeks. Does this mean they are now using preservatives in their cakes for these wholesale places?
