Since it is right around the corner, Kmart invites you to participate in the Halloween challenge as preparation for the festivities! If you are looking to turn your home into a haunted house, or vying to win this year’s costume contest, Kmart has what you need for all things spooky! With over 3,000 Halloween costumes available online, they have something for kids, teens and parents. And now you can purchase online and pick up in store!
To celebrate the season, Kmart has launched its Kostume Kreator, which allows you to create a Halloween Kreature and dress him/her up in Kmart costumes, adding accessories and a fun backdrop. After you have created your Kreature share it with friends on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and SYW.com (Shop Your Way) encourage them to vote for you in the Kostume Kontest for the chance to win a prize! Each week the top 5 Kreatures with the highest scores will win $25 Kmart gift cards and the grand prize winner with the highest combined scores will receive a $100 Kmart gift card on Halloween. I spent a good 10 minutes with this and had lots of fun creating Zombies, Pirates, Princesses and Fairies. But ultimately the look I went with is – Pennie as Catwoman!
It was fun and easy; the kids will have a great time with it, and I was immediately offered a $5 off coupon on the costume and the ability to share with my friends on the social networking sites. If you do share, you could end up winning a $25 or $100 gift card! Fun and the chance to win money – why wouldn’t you try that?
