Enjoy a Quick and Delicious Dinner with Campbell’s Skillet Sauces

With my husband’s new work schedule we’re always scrambling around dinnertime to make something as fast as possible! It doesn’t always lead to the best choices (like cereal!) and so when I heard about Campbell’s new Skillet Sauces I was definitely game to try them! I thought the flavor variety was excellent and have used 2 of the flavors so far! Here’s some info about them:

Campbell’s Skillet Sauces are available in six (6) great-tasting varieties:
Creamy Chipotle with Roasted Corn & Black Beans
Marsala with Mushrooms & Garlic
Thai Green Curry with Lemongrass & Basil
Toasted Sesame with Garlic & Ginger
Fire Roasted Tomato with Red Bell Peppers & Chiles (not provided)
Scampi with White Wine & Garlic (not provided)

Ready in just 15 minutes, with three easy steps:
HEAT. Heat oil in skillet over medium/high heat.
ADD. Add your protein or vegetables and cook until browned.
STIR. Stir in sauce and heat to boil. Reduce heat and cover for five minutes or until protein is cooked through and/or vegetables are tender.

It couldn’t be easier to use these sauces! I always have shrimp in the freezer, they defrost super quickly and I set about using the Thai Green Curry with Lemongrass and Basil one night recently for dinner.  I heated the oil, added my shrimp and some green beans and red peppers and cooked them for a few minutes.  I added the sauce and covered for 5 additional minutes and what a great meal! The Thai Green Curry was really flavorful and my chef husband was very impressed as well!

Later in the week I found myself ready to pull down cereal again for dinner and saw the other packages of Campbell’s Skillet Sauces calling my name! This time I browned some chicken breast, added sugar snap peas and carrots and used the Toasted Sesame with Garlic and Ginger and it was also delicious! I love Thai flavors and so far the Thai Green Curry is my favorite.  I am excited to try the other varieties as well and perhaps my cereal for dinner habit is gone now?

This does sond easy and as I sit here eating fruit loops, better then cereal.

I would love to try these out. I am always looking for new creative and easy ways to change up dinner especially for a picky toddler. Thanks for sharing your opinions.

The Fire Roasted Tomato with Red Bell Peppers & Chiles packet sounds amazing. I would love to try that with some spaghetti
