Fun Holiday Gift – SpyNet’s Ultra Night Vision Goggles

by Nicole on December 11, 2012

I would have LOVED these goggles as a gift and was as excited to get them as Noah was.  The when my husband saw them the poor kid didn’t stand a chance.  These would be a great gift for a child or for a fun-loving adult! I mean, who wouldn’t want night vision goggles?

Keep tight surveillance with Spy Net Ultra Night Vision goggles. This kid-friendly spy toy lets you keep tabs on your surroundings and bust suspects in the act with video and photo evidence. Spies ages eight and up can undertake recon missions day or night with five high-tech vision modes.  Goggles feature spooky ghost recon and thermal “heat vision” filters.

Five High-Tech Vision Modes

Spy Net Ultra Night Vision goggles let you stage midnight stakeouts in your home or gather evidence against enemy agents. These comfortable goggles feature a high-contrast, dual-eye view that’s easy on the eyes. And the infrared sensitive optics has you covered whether your surveillance takes place outside on a bright day or in pitch black at night. During testing, we found night vision worked well in a completely dark room.

Night Vision: Find out what happens in your house at night. In night vision mode, the goggles let you see up to 50 feet in complete darkness. This mode is Spy Net’s original award-winning technology.
Enhanced Daytime Vision: View your surroundings in this full-color daytime mode.
Ghost Recon: Capture ghostly images of your environment with this vision filter.
Thermal Tech Mode: This thermal-styled effect mimics “heat vision” from video games and action flicks.
Record Mode: Capture video and photo evidence in any vision mode. Requires microSD card (not included).

Two Surveillance Ranges

With two surveillance ranges to choose from, you can zoom in on the action and evidence in even the darkest environments and from multiple distances. Choose short range mode when you’re in close proximity to your target. Or choose long range mode for maximum surveillance, up to 50 feet away.

The goggles emit no detectable light in short range mode and only a small ring of red light in long range mode, so you’ll remain stealthy no matter how close you are to your target.

Ok, so we love these.  I even caught my husband wearing them on his walk to turn the coffee maker on at 4 am the other day.  Just for fun.  I was happy he didn’t turn the light on and giggled at the goggles.  They are so much fun and they DO work! I can see this as so much fun for tween and teenage kids as well as adults! Noah played with them but is more into cartoons and action figures and has figured out that we have more fun with them than he does!

I received a pair of goggles to review for this post. All opinions are my own.

These sound like a blast. I can see me and my grandchildren having a lot of fun with these. We have a small creek with lots of trees and these would be fun to see all the little critters at night. What a great gift these would make.
