This week’s pin comes to us from Emily and Jaime at Everyday Art. It is a fabulous looking and fabulously easy (although very time consuming) rag rug!
The backing is just a non-skid rug mat and the rug is just strips of quilting fabric. It’s not even tied in – just pushed through the holes in the mat! Also, this looks really full even though every hole wasn’t used. I love the look of it and I think it would be great for a kid’s or an adult’s room!

I started Nicole's Nickels in February 2009 to bring all of the great deals I was finding to my friends and family and then it took off! Since then I've continued my full-time day job as an attorney while blogging in the evenings and on weekends. Nicole's Nickels has evolved into a site that lets you know about great new products and services! I help my clients during the days at the non-profit I work for and then my Nicole's Nickels readers learn about the best new products for their families! I hope you'll take the time to

If you use polyester double knit fabrics cut with pinking shears, the fabric strips will never fray. If you use felt and cut the strips with pinking shears the strips will never fray. You really need to use fabrics that won’t fray if it is going to be used quit a bit.
