A Few Shortcuts Weekly Recipe: Quick Blackberry Cobbler

by Pennie on January 11, 2013

Amanda at A Few Short Cuts has provided a recipe this week that really appeals to me!   It’s Quick Blackberry Cobbler!  I LOVE blackberries.  I started my love affair with them when I was lucky enough to visit France a few years ago.  I stayed right around the corner from a farmer’s market and could walk over and get them fresh-picked, sweet and still warm from sitting in the sun.  There was no turning back from there!  I could eat them all day, every day, so this recipe calls my name pretty seriously.  And it’s a cobbler–a quick and easy cobbler at that.   The perfect dessert for a chilly day.  I’m going to try it with frozen blackberries to try to keep down the cost.  I hope they will retain their yummy texture!

Each week I will highlight one of Amanda’s fabulous recipes. If you don’t have the ingredients or they’re not on sale near you, you could easily print and save the recipes for later use!

I like almost all cobblers, so I’m sure I’d like this one too. I’m not real keen on peach cobbler, but I’ll eat it, it’s just a bit bland in my opinion as compared to many of the other fruit cobblers out there.
