Asian Foods for the New Year: Annie Chun’s and Bibigo and Giveaway

by Nicole on January 2, 2013

I received a variety of Annie Chun’s and Bibigo produts to try out since we eat Asian food for New Year’s every year! We tried the Annie Chun’s hot and sour soup posted above and I always order hot and sour soup from the local take-out and this one did not disappoint!

This spicy and tangy classic Chinese soup is widely known as the soup of choice in many of your favorite Chinese restaurants. We’ve taken this delightful broth and combined it with premium, fresh cooked hokkien noodles topped off with Asian bok choy and shiitake mushrooms. The result: a satisfying and delicious noodle soup bowl to warm your soul and fight your colds (or so the Chinese believe). With just the right balance of hot and sour flavors, you’ll enjoy every savory spoonful. If you’re enjoying yourself, it is polite to slurp your noodles! Try an Annie Chun’s Hot and Sour Soup Bowl today.

We also tried the seaweed snacks which I thought were unique and after I took a few bites I got used to the flavor. They are low in calories and high on nutrients which makes them the perfect snack!

Here’s your chance to discover a delicious new snack that’s bursting with flavor and chock-full of vitamins and minerals to keep you going all day long. Our Korean seaweed is roasted to perfection and then seasoned with a dash of salt and sesame seed oil, creating a savory taste sensation that promises to excite your palate. Go ahead. Indulge. Your friends will have culture envy. Bring Home Annie Chun’s Sesame Seaweed Snacks today and enjoy a unique, healthy snack!

I also tried the bibigo Pineapple sauce which was phenomenal! We used it as a cooking sauce with some shrimp and vegetables and I loved the rich flavor it gave everything!

Borrowing from Hawaiian tradition, our Pineapple CJ Bibigo Korean BBQ Marinade and Cooking Sauce has a naturally sweeter taste that children love. Add a tropical twist to your next Korean BBQ by choosing this marinade with pineapple puree for remarkable flavor.

The products we tried were very flavorful and we had an excellent meal with the hot and sour soup and the shrimp and veggies with the pineapple bibigo sauce!
