De-Stress from the Holidays

by Nicole on January 2, 2013

The holiday season is exhausting and very stressful for many of you.  Now that it’s over you should concentrate on de-stressing and keeping your life as peaceful as possible! These are two great products that will help you do just that!

Bed of Nails
After spending months on pins and needles awaiting Election Day, it’s now time to spend some time on a Bed of Nails. The original, Dr. Oz endorsed, BED OF NAILS acupressure mat and pillow feature non-toxic plastic spikes designed to stimulate the body to release endorphins (feel good hormones) and oxytocin (pain blockers), similar to how needles work in acupuncture. Use Bed of Nails for at least 10 minutes a day and you’ll notice less pain, less stress and more relaxation in your life. www.bedofnails.org

Beauty Foods
Stress is one of the biggest zappers of our vitality. When we’re overwhelmed we don’t sleep well, don’t feel well and don’t look well. Stress is toxic to our well-being, but now you can literally drink it away. Nope, not with a bottle of scotch, but instead with a healthy, natural nightly drink in chocolate, vanilla or chai.

Beauty Foods has created a night-time drink that promotes relaxation, sleep and improved skin. The unique collagen in the drink helps skin, hair and nails while the bio-available forms of AlphaWave L-Theanine and AlphaWave Calming Blend help relax and put you to sleep. Celebrities, luxury spas and high-end Beverly Hills retailers love Beauty Foods and now you can too. www.beautyfoods.com

The Bed of Nails pillow was really cool.  I used it while sitting on the couch and put a towel around it as it was a little painful at first for me.  Jamie used it without a towel just fine.  It felt really cool and I loved how great my neck and back felt after using it!

The Beauty Foods night time drink was very pleasant and I subbed it for my cup of tea for the last week or so.  The taste was decent and while I didn’t see any drastic results (yet!) I did feel good and noticed less break outs on my face!

I received the products featured in this post.  All opinions are my own.

Now you have me really curious about this ‘bed of nails’ – I think it would feel good on the back.

The bed of nails sounds pretty neat and the nightly drink sounds pretty good too. I would love to try them both.

This is the second time this week I’ve read about this bed of nails; I think it’s time to really look into purchasing one. Thank you for the review.

I like all the products that Dr. Oz endorses, kind of impressed with the other self treatments they list that will help others.
