I hate making mashed potatoes. It’s a pain to peel them and then boil the water, wait for them to cook, drain them, mash them, etc. It’s too much time and too many pots and pans. I was excited to see that you can make mashed potatoes in the Crock-Pot and set out to work on a recipe. We use this recipe for Thanksgiving – it makes 5 lbs of mashed potatoes and they can stay warm for some time. We serve them on the buffet line right from the Crock-Pot!
