02/19 Pinterest Pin of the Week: CROCK POT RIBS

by Pennie on February 19, 2013

This week’s Pin appealed to me because it’s easy and kind of comfort food!  This Pin comes to us from Heather of  Mmm…is for Mommy.  It is an adaptation of Easy Barbecued Ribs from America’s Test Kitchen Slow Cooker Revolution.  Here is Heather’s end product:

These ribs involve a rub and barbecue sauce.  You set it all up in the slow cooker and let it run on low from 6 to 8 hours. Then, to finish it off, you reduce the sauce on top of the stove and brown the ribs in the broiler.  And Voila!, you get the tender creation pictured above!

I really love good, tender, juicy ribs and these look like they will be just that.  Add a salad and some iced tea – life is good!  ENJOY.

OMG – comfort food, easy, easy, easy! You have made me a happy woman. I have been freezing my butt off this week and we need something different for dinner at my house. This sounds like a great way to have something now that we usually only have in the summer! Thanks!
