A Few Shortcuts Weekly Recipe:Turkey Bacon Avocado Panini

by Pennie on February 15, 2013

After all the sweets of the past couple of months, my tummy needs a break!  Amanda at A Few Short Cuts has a great looking sandwich that will do the trick.  This week’s recipe is: Turkey Bacon Avocado Panini!

There is nothing about this recipe that I would change. What the name doesn’t tell you is that there is provolone and pesto on it!  The pesto would definitely be the kicker on here.  Just the TBA (turkey, bacon & avocado) by itself would be great, but add cheese and pesto and heat it up – YUM!  What do you think?

Each week I will highlight one of Amanda’s fabulous recipes. If you don’t have the ingredients or they’re not on sale near you, you could easily print and save the recipes for later use!

My son got an awesome George Foreman Grill for Christmas and we all try to come up with the best hot sandwich recipes. Until now mine has been grilled cheese. LOL I think if I make this one I will be in the lead! Great recipe!

It would never have occurred to me to put pesto in a sandwich like this! I do use turkey bacon all the time, and this combination sounds great. Thanks!
