Make Weighing In Easy with the FitBit Aria

by Nicole on February 19, 2013

I like the scale a lot better now that I am on Nutrisystem and down 22 lbs! It still doesn’t feel great to weigh myself but it is good to watch the number go down!

Like any scale, Fitbit Aria measures your weight. But unlike most scales, with the scale’s Wi-Fi capability, your information is automatically uploaded to a private online account to track your progress each time you step on the scale! With no surprises and information at your fingertips, you can understand better your weight trends, and rejoice in long term progress. The Aria measures not only your weight, but also your BMI and % body fat over time. You can even get your whole family on the path towards healthy living because Fitbit lets you set up 8 different accounts and recognizes all the people in your home so each person can see their own stats on their separate Fitbit.com accounts.

The FitBit Aria was super easy to set up.  I was able to connect it to my home wi-fi network very quickly and was up and running.  You get on the scale and it wirelessly transmits your weight and body fat percentage to your FitBit dashboard.  Since I have the FitBit One as well they connect and all information is on the one dashboard.  You never have to write your weight down, the dashboard keeps the record for you – I love that part! It also calculates your BMI based on the information you give it when you set up as well as your current weight.

You can set up 8 accounts on the Aria and so your whole family can use it to manage their weight and body fat! It recognizes you when you get on the scale so your information remains private.  You can even set goals for yourself and it will let you know when you meet them.  The Aria brings weighing yourself to a whole new level!

I received a FitBit One for review as part of a campaign with MomSelect and FitBit. All opinions are my own.

I love the way the display looks on the scale.
