People around the world suffer on a daily basis because they don’t have access to safe water and sanitation. WaterAid is the leading charity for clean, safe water and sanitation in the world’s poorest countries.
They work with local organizations to help poor communities gain access to safe water and sanitation using sustainable technologies. They have urban and rural programs in 27 countries in sub-Saharan Africa, south Asia, the Pacific region and Central America.
This month WaterAid has a Valentine’s Shop. Whenever you donate to WaterAid you can download a Valentine’s Day card to give to a friend or family member. You can also download cards for other celebrations like birthdays or Mother’s Day.
