Bob Evans Breakfast Bakes Make A Great Breakfast

by Nicole on March 4, 2013

Noah is a picky breakfast eater – I mean, he doesn’t eat eggs, pancakes, waffles, french toast, cereal, etc.  He does love breakfast meats like bacon and sausage and so we will often give him turkey sausage with a piece of bread and cheese with some fruit.  It passes for a decent breakfast but isn’t the best! So we were excited to try these Breakfast Bakes from Bob Evans.

Bob Evans Food Products introduces Breakfast Bakes, the simple goodness of breakfast in a hand-held hash brown, now available in the freezer section of your local grocery store. Retailing at $3.99 for four individually wrapped Breakfast Bakes, your family can enjoy a complete and satisfying breakfast that’s affordable and will give them the energy they need to tackle the day.

To help beat the morning scramble, you can simply heat and eat any of the three delicious varieties in just three minutes. The Sausage, Egg & Cheese variety combines Bob Evans premium sausage with scrambled eggs, warm, melted cheese and hash browns to create a simple and satisfying meal. The Bacon, Egg & Cheese variety brings together breakfast favorites in one baked-to-perfection, hand-held hash brown. Looking for a meatless option? A delicious blend of red and green peppers, fluffy scrambled eggs, hash browns and cheese make up the Southwest Breakfast Bake for the vegetable lover in your family to enjoy.

Noah loved these! He asked me if there was egg in them (since he doesn’t like eggs) and I told him yes but he wouldn’t taste them.  He tried them and told me he didn’t believe me that there was eggs in them so score! He liked the bacon one the best but also liked the sausage.  I didn’t give him the southwest version since he doesn’t like peppers and there was no meat in that one.  I tried the southwest version and thought it was really flavorful.

These Breakfast Bakes are now a regular part of Noah’s breakfast.  They can be cooked in the microwave or in the toaster.  We do the microwave since it’s faster and Noah doesn’t mind if they aren’t super crispy.

I received samples to review. All opinions are my own.
