Breakfast with Aunt Jemima: Lil Griddles

by Nicole on March 16, 2013

Noah is not so much of a breakfast eater.  I can get him to eat some breakfast but am always looking for something he will consistently eat.  I was happy to find these Aunt Jemima Lil Griddles at my local Publix in the freezer section.  They are cute mini pancakes and I’m happy to report they have been deemed Noah’s new favorite breakfast! The tagline of these products is “every batch made from scratch”! These mini pancakes are made with high quality real ingredients – eggs, milk and sugar! I love looking at a list of ingredients and understanding them!

I know moms love to give their kids a hot and nutritious breakfast made with love but it’s not possible to do that every day! With these Lil Griddles you are giving your kids something healthy and with every batch made from scratch you can feel good giving these to your kids! Not to mention the fact that kids love mini sized food items!

I made a stack of 6 pancakes (since there were 6 pancakes pictured in the stack on the box that’s how many he HAD to have!) and put them in the microwave for 35 seconds and they were done! I gave him syrup for dipping since it’s so much more fun to dip and he was off! He quickly demolished this stack and asked for another one which I happily gave him.  He already told me he wants these Lil Griddles again tomorrow and asked what other Lil Griddles products there are! I told him there were new Aunt Jemima frozen Blueberry Mini pancakes, Aunt Jemima frozen Mini pancakes, and Aunt Jemima frozen Cinnamon French Toast Sticks. He wants to try all of them but right now only the mini pancakes are available in my area. Hopefully that changes soon!
