This is such a perfect combo – Jennie-O and Wholly Guacamole, 2 of my favorite brands! I can’t believe I didn’t put these two together before!

I picked up the new Jennie-O Jalapeno Jack Turkey Burgers at my local Walmart.  We eat Jennie-O turkey burgers regularly and I was excited to try a new flavor! These were really good, not too spicy but had a little zip.  I love that you can grill or broil them and that they take less than 15 minutes to cook through.  We use a meat thermometer to make sure these reach 165 degrees inside, it’s super important when cooking poultry!

I love all kinds of Wholly Guacamole products.  The 100 calorie packages make this a super healthy snack with built in portion control!

Jennie-O Jalapeno Jack Turkey Burgers and Wholly Gucamole Make a Great Duo and Giveaway

Ingredients

  • 1 (32-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Jalapeño Jack Turkey Burgers
  • 2 ½ cups thinly sliced onions
  • ? cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup HERDEZ® Salsa Casera medium
  • 6 Flatout® Foldit® Flat Bread
  • 1 cup baby spinach or arugula leaves
  • 6 ounces WHOLLY GUACAMOLE® classic dip

Instructions

  1. Cook turkey burgers as specified on the package. Always cook to well done, 165°F. as measured by a meat thermometer.
  2. In large skillet sprayed with cooking spray, cook onions over medium heat 10 minutes or until softened and lightly browned.
  3. Add cilantro, honey and salsa; stir. Cook 2 minutes or until hot.
  4. Spoon onion mixture onto bottom section of flatbread.
  5. Add turkey burger, spinach leaves and guacamole.
  6. Replace sandwich top.
