Weight loss this week: .8 lbs.
Total weight loss since start of program: 23.3 lbs as of last week
I am inching closer to the 25 lb mark. The weight is no longer falling off but I had a good week this week food wise. I think I didn’t lose more this week because I didn’t get in all of my vegetables. The program calls for you to eat 4 servings of veggies a day and I get most of those in as snacks while at work. It’s so much easier for me to munch on sweet peppers, sugar snap peas or grape tomatoes while at my desk. It satisfies the cravings I have to snack and I love the freshness of the veggies!
This week was a weird week at work in that I never went right to the office in the morning, I had mediations, appointments, etc. and so my veggies never made it to work. I need to be more careful to make sure I run out at lunch to get the veggies if I wasn’t able to bring them that morning. I definitely notice greater weight loss when I am able to eat all fo the food the program wants me to!
Today I am headed out with Noah and my aunt who just moved down and her friend. We will be going to a local flea market and I will bring a Nutrisystem bar for lunch with me and order a garden salad with low fat dressing so I can join them for lunch. It’s a great and easy solution so that I stick to the program while out. Now to just avoid the yummy black and white cookies that will be calling my name!

Total Weight Loss: 48.0 lbs
I will take my 1 lb weight loss this week as I get closer to the 50 lbs. It has been less than 3 months so I would say I am doing pretty well. It seems like some weeks the weight comes off so fast and I end up with an 8 lb weight loss while other weeks I stay the same or lose just a pound like this week. Based on my history with this program so far I know not to get too discouraged on a slower week since usually a higher weight loss week comes soon!
After going to the steakhouse and the wine and food festival last weekend I was excited to be on track and I did well with my eating this week. I need to work on eating more during the day when I am at work. My job is a very active one and I don’t take much time to eat during the workday. I eat my lunch and a snack and then another snack in the car on the way home but it would be more helpful if I didn’t leave so much for after I get home. Some nights I end up eating probably half of my calories in the 2 hours before bed which I know isn’t good.
I have been doing great with my water since I started bringing a gallon of water to work everyday and just drinking it from the jug. It’s an easy way to monitor how much water I drink and I have been doing awesome with my water since I started this. I find I feel less bloated when I get all my water in!
