counter for blogspot – Buy & Sell Gift Cards

by Pennie on March 20, 2013

My daughter found and started using Raise first, but she made sure I got into the swing of it.  This is a place where you can buy someone else’s unwanted gift cards at a discounted price.  What’s better than getting a gift card to the store you really want, than getting it for less than the face value of the card?  Not much, in my shopper’s book!

Raise sells both electronic and physical gift cards.  The price of the gift card is set by the seller, which could be you.  Once your gift card sells on the site you can be paid via check or PayPal.  (Raise does take a flat 15% commission from the seller.)  E-cards are free to list, but physical cards cost $1 to list.  But a savvy seller is going to add the fees onto the cost they want to get for their card, which must be over $20.  And they accept merchandise credits to sell as well, how great is that?

Looking at their website right now I see gift cards for Starbucks for up to 18.2% off, Dick’s Sporting Goods for up to 20% off and Chili’s for up to 15% off!  Those are pretty great deals.

New customers can get an even better deal:  Save $5.00 off of $75: On top of the already discounted gift cards, Raise is offering every new member a $5 off coupon for your order over $75 with code RAISE75!  Expires – 3/31/13.

Due to their great customer service and 100% money back guarantee, I encourage you to clean out those junk drawers and sell your unused gift cards!

This is pretty neat! I love gift cards, but not always from the stores that I get them from. Now, I can get the gift cards that I actually want.

Interesting concept. I would be more interested in the digital gift cards or codes as I am impatient like that. Lol.
