I was intrigued by Hey Shuga! and couldn’t wait to try it. It’s a sugar cane syrup that has some Stevia in it and we are using it in coffee and other places we would normally use regular sugar or sugar substitute.

The syrup pours more easily than honey and effortlessly dissolves into hot and cold beverages. “Hey Shuga!” can be substitued for any recipe that calls for sugar, simple syrup or a touch of sweetness.
Turn luck around with this twisted citrus libation:
2oz Citrus vodka
1oz Cranberry juice
1/2oz Fresh lemon juice
1/4oz “Hey Shuga!”
Mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain liquid into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lemon twist or maraschino cherry.
Bartender’s Tip: This cocktail may be a bit tangy for some; add a little more “Hey Shuga!” if you like sweeter drinks.
Jamie has been using this in his coffee and enjoying it. It pours easily and dissolves completely in his hot coffee. It is sweet and he is using less of this than the sugar he would have normally used.
