05/28 Pinterest Pin(s) of the Week: Summer Nails

by Pennie on May 28, 2013

Ok, last week I gave you a lot of ways to get your feet in shape for summer.  I tried the water, mouthwash (the blue one) and apple cider vinegar mixture.  I soaked for an hour, because I was watching a movie and didn’t really pay attention to my feet until I started to pull them out.  Which is when I discovered they were green!  Irish green.  I panicked for a minute until I remembered I was scrubbing it all off.  But let me say, I’m glad I didn’t fill the soaking tub to a higher level.

Anyway, it took a little elbow grease to get it all off, but at the end my feet looked pretty good!

So this week let’s take a look at some nail art, in case you want to do something fun with those smooth looking feet.  Just click the picture to get to the originating post:

For me, I would love either the peacock or the green with gems as a pedicure if I was headed out for a tropical vacation.  I don’t have steady enough hand to try most of these. I never have, if my nails are polished, someone else did it!  But I think I would try the gradient nails, just above.  You are swabbing the paint on a sponge, then rolling it across the nail.  Then you clean up around the nail bed afterwards.  I’ve had years of practice at that!

I will let you know if I try any of these, leave a comment if you try one!
