Make Smart Breakfast Choices with Arnold/Brownberry/Oroweat

 There are a lot of fast food and frozen breakfast sandwiches out there proclaiming to be good for you. But they can be expensive or not as healthy as they should be.  With just a little time and effort and the right ingredients-like Arnold/Brownberry/Oroweat Sandwich Thins, you can make smart and easy breakfast choices right at home so you know you are getting the best start to your day.

You’ll be surprised at how easy it is to get the right amount of fiber and protein in your first meal of the day. See below for at-home and on-the-go recipes:

At Home: Egg and Prosciutto Sandwich

  • 1 Arnold/Brownberry/Oroweat Sandwich Thins Rolls 100% Whole Wheat Roll
  • 1 oz. low-fat Swiss sliced cheese
  • 1 oz. prosciutto
  • 3 fresh basil leaves
  • ¼ red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 egg, fried

On the bottom half of the Sandwich Thins roll, place ingredients in the following order – Swiss cheese, prosciutto, basil, red onions and egg. Place the top half of the roll on top and enjoy!

On-the-Go at Work: The Classic Egg with Canadian Bacon

  • 1 Arnold/Brownberry/Oroweat Sandwich Thins Rolls 100% Whole Wheat Roll
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 slice Canadian bacon
  • 1 slice reduced fat American cheese

Beat egg in a small bowl. Coat a microwave-safe 5-inch ramekin or small bowl with non-stick spray. Add egg to prepared dish and microwave for 1 minute at 60% power (actual times may vary slightly due to appliance wattage). Wrap Canadian bacon in a paper towel and place on a small microwave-safe plate. Cook for 1 minute at 50% power. Toast Arnold/Brownberry/Oroweat Sandwich Thins roll. Layer bacon, egg and cheese on bagel and enjoy!

These are such good bread because they are low in calories and so soft. I use these as hamburger buns!

I love these. I do sandwiches, breakfast (cheese and canadian bacon or lox and cream cheese, PB, or cr cheese and speadable fruit)
