A Few Shortcuts Weekly Recipe: Homemade Freezer Biscuits

by Pennie on June 14, 2013

This week’s recipe from Amanda at A Few Shortcuts is destined to be a staple in my house.  We all love biscuits (sometimes too much), but taking the time to make them from scratch is often too time consuming to have them every time we want them.  These Homemade Freezer Biscuits are just the answer!

Just set aside some time to whip them up, freeze, then bake at will!  This is really going to be a hit.  They would also be good as a pot pie or even a cobbler topping.

Each week I will highlight one of Amanda’s fabulous recipes. If you don’t have the ingredients or they’re not on sale near you, you could easily print and save the recipes for later use!

Who wouldn’t love these. So easy and quick. Like you said, Biscuits can be time consuming to make. I love it when you can just get some out of the freezer and pop em’ in the oven.

yum! I sometimes skip breakfast all together to avoid cereal or something bland. This sounds great!

OMG, with a freezer full of these, I’d be all set. Thanks for the idea. And there’s so much you can do with these, too – suitable to fix up for breakfast, lunch or dinner. YUM!
