Beat the Heat with KIND!

by Pennie on June 18, 2013

KIND Healthy Snacks is excited to announce the launch of their newest flavor to join their low-sugar KIND Nuts & Spices line – Dark Chocolate Chili Almond!

Dark Chocolate Chili Almond

Dark Chocolate Chili Almond is a sweet and spicy blend of mixed nuts drizzled in chocolate with a trio of cascabel, ancho and habanero chilies.

  • 7g fiber
  • 6g protein
  • 5g sugar

It may sound counter-intuitive to reach for something hot when its 98 degrees, but it’s actually a scientific fact that eating hotter foods when it’s hot out cools you down! The reasoning is simply that when you eat spicier foods, you sweat more, which is your body’s best way of cooling down.

Eat It: Get KIND Dark Chocolate Chili Almond bar!

Read It:  Reading about cold can take your mind off the thermometer, evoking one’s own experience of ice and snow. Try “The Snow Child” for inspiration.

Wear It:  Cooling down pulse points like your neck or the inside of your wrists will immediately help lower your body’s temperature. Try freezing your accessories and slipping them on when you need an afternoon pick-me-up.  Get Marc Jacobs Jelly Bracelet Set and throw them in the refrigerator.

Nicole here! I wanted you all to know that I recently got the opportunity to try these bars and LOVED them! I like spicy food and while these weren’t unbearable they had a hint of heat that was delicious! Because of the nuts these are super filling and the dark chocolate adds a nice sweetness to them!

I’ve tried the Kind bars before and they are very tasty and very reasonably priced too. I like the different varieties too.
