Good Cook It’s a Keeper, Veggie Keeper and Giveaway

by Nicole on June 15, 2013

Keep your produce fresh longer with These produce Keepers! These Vegetable Keepers are apart of the Good Cook ProFreshionals brand. Store unused peppers, melons, tomatoes, bananas, and asparagus in these colorful produce keepers. Keep them crisp and fresh longer in these specialized, transparent lid containers prevents contents from spoiling or smelling. These shaped food storage containers are designed to represent the produce it stores and are easy to identify in the refrigerator.

I love these keepers! I got a set to try out and have been using them ever since! They are such a cute and creative way to store your fruits and veggies.  My favorite is the asparagus keeper – we eat a lot of asparagus and it’s nice to get them out of the package and into this keeper.

Here is my favorite recipe for roasted asparagus – super easy and tastes delicious!

Easy Roasted Asparagus

  • Asparagus
  • Olive Oil
  • Coarse Salt
  • Pepper

  1. Place asparagus on a cookie sheet in a single layer.
  2. Coat with olive oil, salt and pepper.
  3. Shake on cookie sheet to coat completely.
  4. Roast at 425 for approximately 15 minutes or until asparagus starts to brown.

The produce keeper set includes a cantaloupe keeper, green pepper keeper, banana keeper, citrus keeper, tomato keeper, grapefruit keeper, and asparagus keeper.

You can get 25% off these produce Keepers as well as their entire order at with promo code: KEEPERS. If you buy any produce Keeper you can receive a free Banana Keeper free with purchase. (Online offer only)
