Maria Marin and Always’ Give a Girl a Break and P&G Giveaway

by Nicole on June 7, 2013

Are you ready to give a girl a break? Research shows that helping others and being in the supporting company of other women actually reduces stress and makes women healthier and happier. And donating or doing something good releases oxytocin and physiologically, you feel good by doing good. Procter & Gamble’s (P&G) Always brand believes women are always stronger together, and is launching a program to give girls an opportunity as they pursue their passions to the fullest.

I got to interview Maria Marin, an inspirational role model for achieving your dreams and life coach, about the new Give a Girl a Break program which I think is just phenomenal!

“Give a Girl a Break” will feature three teams of passionate female filmmakers as they create short films showing how support from other women can make a difference. The community can follow their journey on Facebook and join “Give a Girl a Break” to support other women at Always, P&G’s leading feminine protection brand, has been empowering women through its products and education programs for 30 years. As much as it empowers women, Always also champions women who support each other and will carry out this mission with “Give a Girl a Break,” and encourage women to lend a supportive hand to other women.

Check out my interview with Maria for more information and make sure to become a part of the program! I love Maria’s ideas about how to encourage other women and took her advice and sent some friends a text message the other day!
