A Few Shortcuts Weekly Recipe: Cinnamon Raisin Baked Oatmeal Squares

by Pennie on August 16, 2013

Need extra time in the morning with school starting?  Amanda at A Few Shortcuts has a great bake-ahead breakfast bar this week.

Cinnamon Raisin Baked Oatmeal Squares takes the yummy healthiness of oatmeal and makes it portable!  This does have flour in it, but you can substitute gluten free flour mix, if that better suits your needs.  These also have 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil in them, and I was pondering if applesauce could be substituted.  I’ll have to give it a try.  Either way they are sure to be scrumptious!

Each week I will highlight one of Amanda’s fabulous recipes. If you don’t have the ingredients or they’re not on sale near you, you could easily print and save the recipes for later use!

These look so yummy and something I will have to try I wonder how they would taste if you did use applesauce well they made me hungry just to look at.

Love the recipe … love this cookie , never really use cinnamon but this looks like it adds a little spice and variety to the cookie.
