I love sending people gifts that show I am thinking about them and love to cook a sick neighbor or friend a meal to make their life a little easier.  When you love far from your friends and family cooking for  them is too hard and that’s where Comfort and Joy Food steps in! You can send a casserole or a dessert – homemade! – clear across the country to be enjoyed be someone you love!

Whether it’s right next door, or across the country, you can send a heartfelt gift of comfort food anywhere in the Continental United States from Comfort and Joy Food. Our casseroles are the ultimate “thinking of you gift.” We offer a fresh approach to letting someone know you care. If you have a crazy schedule or you live miles apart, you can still be a part of all life’s events. In times of sorrow or celebration, show your loved ones you care by sending a homemade cobbler or casserole. Our food is made from scratch, sent with love. We use only the finest quality of ingredients and locally sourced and organic when possible. Send a delicious, lovingly made casserole right to your loved one’s doorstep! It’s the next best thing to you being there. It’s beyond words, from you, sent for any occasion.

Crab and Shrimp Potpie: One slice of this potpie and you’ll be obsessed! Filled with lump crab, succulent shrimp, and artichokes mixed into a spicy Cajun white wine sauce! Every ingredient just screams “indulge!” You’ll miss this potpie when it’s gone, you’ll think about it for days. But don’t worry, you can order it again! We suggest pairing this dish with a glass of Pinot Grigio, Riesling, or an ice cold beer for an impeccable summer meal.

I chose the crab and shrimp potpie because how good does that sound! It arrived on dry ice and I stored it in the freezer until the day before I wanted to eat it when I let it thaw overnight.  I then followed the easy instructions and baked the casserole.  This was absolutely delicious and I loved the slightly spicy sauce with the artichokes and delicious seafood.  This was a great meal and left me wanting more! I will not hesitate to use Comfort and Joy Food the next time I want to send a loved one some comfort and joy from afar!
