Weight Watchers Cheese has recently added two delicious new varieties to its lineup of whipped cream cheeses: Chocolate and Chocolate Raspberry. The new whipped cream cheese flavors are perfect for putting to use in inventive yet simple recipes that push whipped cream cheese’s repertoire beyond the typical bagel. Weight Watchers Cheese has also developed nine recipes designed specifically for the new products.

Yum, yum, yum! I had never had a chocolate cream cheese spread before but I am glad I tried this new variety by Weight Watchers! I love how the cream cheese is whipped so it’s super easy to spread and it is so versatile! I tried it on a chocolate chip bagel and we even thought of other uses for it such as crepe filling, pie filling, etc! I preferred the chocolate over the chocolate raspberry but Jamie liked the chocolate raspberry the best.  Here is a fun recipe using the cream cheese:

Weight Watchers Creamy Chocolate Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1 cup fat free skim milk
  • 2 servings Weight Watchers Chocolate Cream Cheese Spread

Instructions

  1. Bring the milk and rice to a boil in a medium saucepan.
  2. Reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered, stirring often, until the pudding is thick and creamy, about 15 minutes.
  3. Remove the pudding from the heat and stir in the cream cheese.
  4. Let it cool slightly, then serve warm.
